Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 20, 2026
AI Legal Automations is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We continuously improve the user experience for everyone and apply accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced by courts and regulatory bodies in accessibility requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
Measures Taken
AI Legal Automations takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Automated accessibility scanning (axe-core) integrated into our continuous integration pipeline
- Keyboard navigation testing across all pages and interactive components
- Color contrast verification against WCAG standards (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
- Screen reader compatibility testing
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks throughout the application
- Alternative text for all informational images
- Properly associated form labels and error messages for all inputs
- Focus management for single-page application navigation
- Skip-to-main-content links on every page
- Reduced motion support for users who prefer less animation
- High contrast mode support through
forced-colorsmedia query
Accessibility Features
- Keyboard navigation: All functionality is available using keyboard alone. Tab through interactive elements, use Enter/Space to activate, Escape to close modals and menus.
- Screen reader support: Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and live regions ensure content is announced correctly. Route changes are announced automatically.
- Text scaling: Content is readable when zoomed to 200% without horizontal scrolling. All text uses relative units.
- Color independence: Information is never conveyed by color alone. Status indicators include text and icons.
- Focus indicators: A visible 3px focus ring appears on all interactive elements when navigating by keyboard.
Known Limitations
We are continually improving accessibility. The following known limitations are being addressed:
- Some third-party embedded components (payment forms, OAuth flows) may have accessibility gaps outside our direct control. We work with vendors to improve these experiences.
- PDF documents generated by the platform may have limited accessibility. We are working to ensure proper tagging and reading order in generated PDFs.
